JOB PURPOSE: To compile data and ensure all technical documentation is accurate and filed correctly both in hardcopy and digitally. MAIN DUTIES: Responsible for preparation of O&M manuals for water, effluent, and air treatment plants as detailed by the relevant Project Manager To prepare maintenance, lubrication, spares, and any other required schedules for the O&M manuals from supplier’s literature To prepare, with the assistance of the appropriate personnel, the Health Safety and Environmental section of the O&M manual Preparation of initial site files for Site Managers upon receipt request from the designated Project Manager To create and maintain filing systems as required to fulfil the role as required and to the IMS. Ensuring all documentation and literature are kept up-to-date and issued to clients as required for the O&M Manuals Consulting with supplier, subcontractors and clients as required collecting and collating the required documentation for the O&M compilation. Take initiative to identify and deal with problems. To ensure the appropriate distribution of correspondence, circulars, reports etc. as applicable. To proactively review current market trends in better practices and technology To maintain good communication links between all internal resource, clients, and third-party suppliers To ensure the appropriate distribution of correspondence, circulars, reports etc as applicable To maintain good communication links between the Project Manager and other members of the Team, outside organisations, and consult with all staff. To show initiative in the absence of the Project Manager and members of the Team in their respective roles in prioritising correspondence / telephone calls to ensure urgent matters are brought to the attention of appropriate colleagues. To co-operate and conduct any other reasonable and lawful request/instruction by the Project Manager, in line with their training, expertise, capability and H&S as implied duties through employer and employee relations. PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: Good Communicator – Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Company Awareness – The ability to stay up to date on the daily happenings and developments across the company. Flexible – Working from home or in the office, with the flexibility to visit project sites, client office and supplier premises throughout the UK. Organised – The ability to work to clear deliverables, report progress, give feedback, and have a drive to deliver without having to be driven by others. Completer/Finisher – Proven track record of closing out tasks making sure they are done in a timely manner. Team Player – The ability and willingness to contribute and support the wider project delivery teams, whilst also collaborating with other company personnel across all departments
