A leading specialist in capital project delivery, environmental and energy management, plant maintenance, and emergency response services is seeking a Project Engineer (Electrical) to join their expanding team. Operating across the UK 24/7, the business delivers practical and cost-effective solutions to complex water, wastewater, and environmental challenges. The Role

  • Delivering projects from concept through to completion, ensuring technical excellence and compliance throughout.
  • Developing electrical project scopes, programmes, and resource requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with client specifications, frameworks, and statutory regulations.
  • Leading HAZOP, HAZCOM, FAT, and SAT processes.
  • Reviewing RAMS and maintaining electrical design risk assessments.
  • Managing defect resolution and project close-out activities.
  • Promoting strong health & safety performance, including CDM compliance.
  • Reviewing electrical designs, tenders, and subcontractor performance.
  • Collaborating with project, engineering, and operational teams to minimise risk and drive efficiency.

About You

  • A recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering.
  • Proven experience delivering electrical engineering projects (ideally within utilities, water, or industrial environments).
  • Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and NEC Contracts.
  • Good understanding of electrical design standards and compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and ideally Revit or Inventor.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Full UK driving licence (site travel required).
