Operating across the UK 24/7, the business delivers practical and cost-effective solutions to complex water, wastewater, and environmental challenges. The Role
As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering projects from concept through to completion, ensuring technical excellence and compliance throughout. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing electrical project scopes, programmes, and resource requirements
- Ensuring compliance with client specifications, frameworks, and statutory regulations
- Leading HAZOP, HAZCOM, FAT, and SAT processes
- Reviewing RAMS and maintaining electrical design risk assessments
- Managing defect resolution and project close-out activities
- Promoting strong health & safety performance, including CDM compliance
- Reviewing electrical designs, tenders, and subcontractor performance
- Collaborating with project, engineering, and operational teams to minimise risk and drive efficiency
About You
- A recognised qualification in Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience delivering electrical engineering projects (ideally within utilities, water, or industrial environments)
- Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations and NEC Contracts
- Good understanding of electrical design standards and compliance
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and ideally Revit or Inventor
- Strong organisational, planning, and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Full UK driving licence (site travel required)
