Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Project Engineer to join their project delivery team supporting clean water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This role is essential to the successful design, coordination, and delivery of electrical engineering solutions that meet client operational and technical requirements, particularly for Thames Water and Southern Water projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordination and delivery of projects ranging in values and complexity, ensuring all projects are undertaken to an agreed cost, scope, and programme.
- Support the SED team in the preparation of the project design and estimate (pre-implementation).
- Capable of working on several projects and managing the works awarded to suppliers/subcontractors.
- Management of scope change notices in accordance with the contract requirements (e.g., early warnings and compensation notices).
- Produce information for project level KPIs.
- Managing project teams (direct and subcontract) and accountability for project delivery.
- Management of the activities of multi-disciplinary project teams in accordance with project delivery procedures.
Requirements:
- A minimum of five years' experience in a design and build project delivery role within the water industry.
- HNC minimum in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- CSCS, SMSTS, 18th Edition of BS7671 (Electrical only).
- Familiarity with 3D design tools (e.g., AutoCAD Plant 3D, Revit).
- Knowledge of UK water industry standards and practices.
