About the Opportunity
A growing, dynamic organisation (c.120 employees) is looking to hire a junior Operations Assistant to join its expanding team. This is a newly created role offering excellent exposure across operations, marketing, ESG reporting and facilities coordination.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career (1–3 years’ experience) who is ambitious, proactive and keen to learn. The business offers strong development potential, great bonuses, enhanced parental leave benefits, and a collaborative working culture.
The Role
Working closely with the Head of Operations and wider team, you will provide broad operational and administrative support across the business. The role is varied and hands-on, offering exposure to senior management and external partners.
You will also provide reception cover during lunchtimes and occasional holiday/sickness cover (not full-time reception, but a regular part of the role).
Key Responsibilities
- Operations & Administration
- Prepare and maintain internal and external reports and presentations
- Provide day-to-day operational administrative support
- Arrange company events and team socials
- Support general facilities administration
- Collate ESG information from across the business
- Assist in producing structured ESG reports and materials
- Coordinate marketing materials and internal communications
- Work alongside an external branding agency on campaigns, intranet content and rebrand initiatives
- Support the creation of content for internal platforms
- Act as a point of contact for facilities suppliers
- Support supplier coordination and related administration
- Assist with office supplies and general facilities matters
About You
- 1–3 years’ professional experience in an administrative or operations-based role
- Industry background open (previous insurance experience not essential)
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator with good written and verbal skills
- A team player with a proactive, can-do attitude
- Ambitious, motivated and eager to develop
