The Opportunity
We are working with a leading architectural and interior design firm who are looking for an experienced, highly organised Marketing Coordinator / Administrator to provide temporary support to their Marketing team for approximately 1–2 months, likely 2 months. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is an excellent administrator and coordinator, with strong attention to detail and the confidence to hit the ground running. You don't necessarily need extensive marketing experience – what's most important is that you are organised, proactive and comfortable coordinating multiple tasks and deadlines without needing to be taught the basics.
About the Role
You will provide hands-on coordination and administrative support to the Marketing team, helping to keep campaigns, events, communications and day-to-day activity running smoothly. Responsibilities will include:
- Providing general administrative and coordination support to the Marketing team
- Coordinating marketing activities, deadlines and schedules
- Supporting the planning and organisation of events, including arranging invitations, managing RSVPs and obtaining catering costs
- Helping to manage and maintain the social media calendar
- Coordinating content and ensuring scheduled activity is kept up to date
- Updating and maintaining the company website and content using a CMS
- Assisting with marketing materials, presentations and communications
- Maintaining databases, records and marketing documentation
- Liaising with internal teams, suppliers and external contacts
- Supporting meetings, events and other marketing projects as required
- Taking ownership of administrative tasks and ensuring everything is completed accurately and on time
About You
We are looking for someone who ideally has 3–5 years' workplace experience and is confident working independently from day one. You will have:
- Fantastic administration and organisational skills
- Strong coordination skills and excellent attention to detail
- The ability to manage several tasks and priorities at once
- Experience supporting or coordinating events – even if this has involved arranging invitations, RSVPs, catering or suppliers
- Experience working with social media, particularly managing or coordinating a social media calendar
- Hands-on CMS experience – essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- A proactive, practical and can-do approach
- The confidence to work independently without requiring extensive training on basic workplace processes
Marketing Experience
Marketing experience is beneficial but not essential. The Manager is primarily looking for someone who is a strong coordinator and administrator who can provide immediate, practical support to the Marketing team. If you've worked in a busy office environment, have excellent organisational skills and are comfortable taking ownership of tasks, this could be a great fit.
Desirable Experience
Extra points if you have experience within:
- Architecture or interior design
- Luxury hospitality
- Events or event coordination
- A creative or design-led environment
The Details
Contract: Temporary, approximately 1–2 months (likely 2 months)
