What you will do
- Lead, manage, and organize all aspects of the food production in Il Giardino to the highest professional standards and in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure as issued by the Executive Chef.
- Run the kitchen outlet with creativity and innovation by introducing new dishes and products on the market.
- Lead the team in effectively delivering departmental goals, planning and organizing work activities, and continuously seeking to improve ways of working while engaging the team.
- Collaborate closely with Executive Head Chef to plan menus, products, and seasonal offerings for the outlet.
- Complete payroll reports, manage food costs and forecasts, and participate in the preparation of the hotel’s annual budget.
- Manage efficient stock control and procedures.
- Combine financial awareness with a flair and passion for food.
- Maintain a safe, healthy, and secure workplace environment, following all work protocols and engaging the team with training initiatives.
- Monitor and analyse guest feedback to improve food and presentation quality.
- Coach, train, and support the team to provide consistently high standards while continually looking to improve.

- Proven track record as a Head Chef with at least 10 years’ experience.
- Holder of Food Hygiene Level 4 certificate and Health and Safety certificates.
- Experience within a 5-star hotel is a significant advantage.
