A bit about what you will do: Head Porters lead by example and inspire the team by sharing their passion for creating a welcoming and personal experience for our guests. Ensure that guests can be treated in a warm, friendly and efficient manner through a consistent commitment to training, both on and off the job. Prepare rotas, timesheets and manage holidays, considering occupancy and any large group movements, especially those with early or late arrivals and departures. Handle all luggage needs promptly and professionally. Stay knowledgeable about the hotel facilities, activities, promotions, and happenings in the local area to provide accurate information. Ensure timely delivery and collection of guests’ packages, messages, and letters to and from their rooms. Manage the luggage storage room ensuring luggage is labelled and stored neatly.
