The Power Platform Developer is a key member of the team, working as a champion for Intelligent automation capabilities and AI. The role works closely with business analysts, business stakeholders and software partners to integrate automation into the operational fabric of our clients. In this role, you will understand business and system requirements, connect automation platforms to enterprise applications, and deploy solutions to a live environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the end-to-end implementation of the automation technology across various business units and IT landscapes.
- Connect the automation platforms to on-premises/ Cloud ERP & IT systems, whilst liaising with key stakeholders and ensuring control protocols are adhered to.
- Collaborate directly with project team members, process owners and technical teams within each business unit to understand their goals, objectives and requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- Support initial business process analysis to assess the feasibility of automation projects.
- Design and develop solutions, adhering to Future Workforce best practices.
- Work with Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts to test solutions, ensuring they meet the business's requirements.
- Hand-over solutions to automation support teams, adhering to the Future Workforce Knowledge Transfer methodology.
- Actively participate in team discussions, and provide timely updates to stakeholders during project delivery.
Experience/Skills:
- You have at least 2 yearsβ experience developing automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform.
- You have experience working collaboratively with other team members to design and deploy solutions into a live environment.
- You have a good understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies, including waterfall and agile.
- You will be focused, motivated and ready to hone your technical skills while increasing your understanding of technology consulting and professional services.
- You will have excellent collaborative skills, ability to work with others to deliver to specification.
- You have a passion for solving problems and excellent analytical skills.
- You have a passion for continued learning and development.
- Excellent and effective communicator, both verbally and written.
Suggested Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with the Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents, and Dataverse.
- Exposure to AI, NLP (Natural Language Processing), and LLM technologies.
- Proven experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and deploy solutions in live environments.
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies, including both waterfall and agile approaches.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Qualifications:
To be eligible, you must possess a degree with a 2:1 or above in technology or a related degree. This could include, but not limited to, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Analytics, Software Development, Network Engineering, AI/Robotics Information Technology or other. Ideally you are a certified developer in UiPath or Microsoft Power Platform.
