Job Description
Four Square is an Edinburgh charity supporting people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. They are ambitious for people who are homeless and believe everyone deserves a beautiful home, a good job and a place in their community.
As well as homes for 70 people who are homeless, Four Square also provide support for people in the community who are experiencing homelessness; have a mentoring service for young people; and run one of Scotland’s largest social enterprises – Edinburgh Furniture Initiative (EFI). EFI re-sells donated furniture to support the charity and creates volunteering and learning opportunities. In addition, October 2023 they opened the Four Square Park Café in Saughton Park which provides a community resource and an income stream to the charity.
Four Square are looking for talented and ambitious Trustees to join their Board. Trustees who share their values and can help them to continue to grow. New Trustees will offer positive challenge, support and critique as Four Square embark on their next phase of development including impactful services, growing social businesses and an expanding property portfolio.
We are particularly interested in hearing from people with a proven career at a senior level within property, finance, social care, business development or HR.
