Our UK site located in Scotland, is the home of the iconic Deep Heat brand. Here we develop, manufacture and market healthcare products for our UK, European, African and Middle Eastern markets.
We are looking to appoint an exceptional Head of Quality to join the team in East Kilbride. You will lead a team of 5 direct reports across QC, QA and microbiology and will bring strong leadership skills and a proven track record in quality management in medical devices, consumer health or related sector. A strong background in QA and supplier assurance is essential as is an ability to work in a busy and varied environment.
As such the Head of Quality will need to be involved with improving our systems, ensuring we are flexible and ready to adapt, whilst ensuring we remain compliant.
The Head of Quality is responsible for ensuring the compliant and effective operation of quality management systems at Mentholatum UK (MUK) for the manufacture and distribution of medicines, medical devices, cosmetics and other general products. You will also oversee Mentholatum Ireland (MIE) for the importation and release of medicinal products and EU Importation of Medical Devices.
Mentholatum is ambitious for growth outside of its main UK market, including to the Middle East and the quality function is essential in supporting this growth from a quality and compliance perspective.
We offer a flexible working environment and a positive and supportive culture. The Head of Quality is ideally expected to be on site in East Kilbride 3/4 days a week, including commitment to travel for audits and Ireland. Flexibility for travel and preparation of audit report will be in place
