We are seeking a multi-skilled Field Service Engineer with experience in pumping systems and associated controls. The role involves installation, servicing, commissioning and breakdown support across commercial and industrial sites throughout the South East (primarily within the M25 and Home Counties).

Key Responsibilities

  • PPM servicing and remedial repairs
  • Mechanical & electrical installations (pumps, pipework, valves, controls)
  • Commissioning of pump systems
  • Reactive and emergency breakdown attendance
  • Call-out rota (1 in 6 weeks)
  • Van stock management
  • Adherence to site health & safety requirements
  • Attendance at engineer meetings as required

  • Booster sets & pressurisation units

  • Wastewater & sewage pump systems
  • Stormwater pump stations

Requirements

  • Experience in pump maintenance and fault finding
  • Strong mechanical and/or electrical background
  • Analytical approach to diagnostics
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Flexible for travel and on-call duties

Package

  • Basic salary up to £43,338 (higher for electrically qualified engineers)
  • OTE £50,000–£60,000 (travel time & overtime paid)
  • 42.5-hour week
  • 22 days holiday + bank holidays (rising to 25 days) + potential bonus days
  • Company van, fuel card, mobile phone

  • On-call allowance (£250 per week on rota + £100 per call-out)
