Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Lift Engineer to join a well-established engineering team covering South Wales. This role is suited to an engineer with strong service, maintenance, and fault-finding experience across a range of lift systems. The position offers a mix of planned maintenance and reactive breakdown support across commercial and residential sites.
Role Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on lift systems
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out effective fault-finding and repairs
- Ensure lifts are operating safely, reliably, and in line with regulations
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate job records
- Liaise professionally with site contacts and customers
- Support compliance with health & safety and statutory requirements
- Work independently across assigned sites within South Wales
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Lift Engineer (service, maintenance, or breakdown)
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Experience working with a range of lift types and manufacturers
- Good understanding of health & safety and compliance standards
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Full UK driving licence
