Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced Static Lift Engineer to provide night call cover on a key static site in Harrow. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who prefers site-based work with reduced travel and a strong focus on maintenance, fault response, and emergency breakdown support during out-of-hours periods.

Role Responsibilities

  • Provide night call cover for lift breakdowns and emergency call-outs
  • Carry out first-line diagnostics, fault-finding, and repairs on lift systems
  • Support planned maintenance activities where required
  • Ensure lifts are operating safely and efficiently at all times
  • Record all work carried out in line with compliance and reporting standards
  • Liaise with monitoring centres, clients, and escalation teams when necessary
  • Ensure adherence to health & safety and statutory regulations

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Lift Engineer (maintenance, service, or breakdown)
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
  • Experience working with passenger lifts (various manufacturers desirable)
  • Ability to work independently on a static site during night hours
  • Good understanding of health & safety and compliance requirements
  • Full UK driving licence (if required for occasional support travel)
