FWA Talent Specialists are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing Fire & Security client, who are looking to add an experienced Service Engineer to their expanding Service Department. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, supportive team where you’ll work across a broad range of systems, develop your skills, and boost your earnings through overtime and call-out payments.

The Role

You’ll play a key role delivering high-quality service support across the North of England, working with systems including:

  • TECS
  • Fire Alarms
  • Intruder Alarms
  • CCTV
  • Access Control Systems

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend reactive repair call-outs and carry out planned preventative maintenance
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company policies and procedures
  • Maintain client confidentiality at all times
  • Deliver outstanding service to exceed client expectations
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience with Fire & Security systems (TECS, Fire, Intruder, CCTV, Access Control)
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise workload
  • Strong fault-finding, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with integrated Fire & Security systems and a good understanding of networking

Desirable (but not essential):

  • ECS / CSCS card
  • IPAF and/or PASMA certification

Essential:

  • Full UK Driving Licence
