FWA is supporting a major UK Utilities organisation operating across Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire, and Berkshire in the migration of its IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) platform from an on-premise environment to a cloud-based solution. The programme includes data migration, process transformation, application modernisation, integrations, and cloud adoption, with Oracle serving as the underlying database platform. We are seeking experienced consultants and specialists to join the programme on a 12-month contract, commencing August 2026, with the potential for extension.

The Google Workspace Technical Solution Architect will be responsible for designing and governing Google Workspace solutions that support collaboration, workflow automation, knowledge management, and operational efficiency throughout the IBM Maximo cloud migration programme. This role will work closely with project teams, business stakeholders, and technology partners to create scalable, secure, and integrated solutions leveraging Google Workspace and related technologies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Google Workspace architecture aligned with programme requirements.
  • Define integration approaches between Google Workspace, IBM Maximo, Oracle databases, and other enterprise platforms.
  • Lead technical workshops and architectural reviews.
  • Design automation solutions leveraging Google Apps Script, AppSheet, and Workspace services.
  • Support identity, access management, and security requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with governance and regulatory standards.
  • Develop technical roadmaps and solution blueprints.
  • Provide architectural oversight during implementation and deployment.
Mandatory Skills
  • Extensive Google Workspace architecture experience.
  • Strong understanding of Google Cloud and Workspace administration.
  • Experience designing enterprise integrations.
  • Experience with AppSheet and workflow automation solutions.
