We have an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to join us in delivering Debt Finance under the South West Investment Fund, providing loans of £100k to £2m to SMEs. At FW Capital, you’ll be making a valuable contribution in your local community helping to create regional prosperity.
The successful candidate will have a strong business development track record as well as excellent credit skills to achieve the sourcing, appraisal and making of loans to businesses in Gloucestershire, Bristol, Bath, North Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire.
With a strong introducer network in the South West, you’ll generate high volumes of lending opportunities and will conduct thorough and robust due diligence and risk assessments when considering investment opportunities, negotiating terms and preparing detailed credit papers.
Customer focused, you’ll maintain our high standards as you manage the completion of deals, supporting the customer through the full process and providing guidance through difficult situations.
You’ll be a strong negotiator who can influence others to see the benefits of our offering and will be accustomed to networking with key business introducers across the area.
Analytical with the ability to make decisions by assessing all relevant financial details, you will be a confident communicator who can prioritise your own workload and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
It would be preferable to have an accountancy or banking qualification and a full UK driving licence.
