We are looking for a Technical Audio Designer with a strong eye for detail and a passion for creating unique experiences to join our team and either work remotely or based out of our sunny seaside office in the vibrant city of Brighton and Hove. Your goal will be to help the team deliver a charming, warm and satisfying experience – with SFX that tickles the brain and feels ‘just right’. This will involve taking creative direction from the Game Director and technical direction from the Lead Programmer, using your strong technical ability and creative sensibility to understand, define, track, deliver and implement audio across the game. You will intimately learn and understand the creative vision of the project, its mechanical documentation, how we work across Unity/FMOD and be confident and effective having sole responsibility for delivering the game’s audio to spec and on time.
Please note that we are only able to employ those who are both a UK resident and/or have a valid UK work permit.

- Bringing both technical audio expertise and the ability to translate both technical and creative direction into high quality and tonally appropriate SFX and Ambience.
- Across a range of genres and tones, with an established portfolio that includes references to the brief you were given and the corresponding work you delivered.
- An ability to go beyond the brief, challenging your direction to arrive at the core of what will be needed to deliver the most satisfying experience to players.
- Unity
- Proficient in integrating FMOD audio assets into Unity projects
- Proficient in implementing or providing technical direction for setting up event triggers and parameter modulation with Unity/C#
- Version Control

- Experience with multi-platform development (PC/Mobile/Consoles)
- Experience with audio-driven haptic feedback design and implementation
