We’re FuturLab, the award-winning game studio behind PowerWash Simulator, the Velocity series, Peaky Blinders Mastermind, and many more awesome games. We’re looking for an Associate Publishing Producer to join the team. The Associate Publishing Producer supports the Publishing Producer, Product Manager, QA Manager, and Marketing team in delivering high-quality releases and content updates to players on time and within budget. This role is ideal for someone early in their production career who wants to specialise in publishing, release management, and live operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Publishing Producer in scheduling and coordinating teams involved in content and quality-of-life updates for live and unreleased games across multiple platforms.
  • Assist in ensuring all required checks and approvals for releases are completed and communicate any exceptions or changes to the Publishing Producer.
  • Maintain accurate release records to track content, changes, and historical data.
  • Support the external submission and certification process for self-published titles under the guidance of the Publishing Producer.
  • Help maintain an understanding of build submission requirements and contribute to ensuring the team follows proper certification guidelines.
  • Maintain and update internal documentation relating to releases, publishing procedures, and operational workflows.
  • Coordinate with Product Management, Marketing, and Production to support release content planning and risk tracking.
  • Act as a support between the development team and platform holders, escalating issues to the Publishing Producer as needed.
  • Work with QA to help triage issues, maintain priority lists and support planning of hotfixes, patches, and content releases.
  • Help develop and refine checklists, templates, and tools used for publishing and release management.
  • Participate in discussions around future release planning, offering knowledge of certification processes to help inform decision-making.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience, ideally in a publishing or production role in the video games industry assisting with at least one shipped, multi-platform title.
  • Experience with certification and related compliance requirements for Console and PC.
  • Understanding of game development pipelines and/or live game operations.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and manage competing tasks.
  • Exceptional communication and organisational skills.

Desirable Experience:

  • Experience working on a shipped or live-service game.
  • Familiarity with release management tools, excel, bug trackers, and project management software.
  • Strong Knowledge of platform holders’ requirements (Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Steam, etc.).
