People Labs is the new HiBob implementation and managed services division of Futurist, a business built around a private network of senior People Leaders (CPOs, CHROs and VPs of People) at VC and PE-backed tech companies. We implement and manage HiBob for fast-growth businesses, and we're growing the team that delivers it.
This role is designed for someone who knows their systems - who has led discovery sessions, configured Bob from the ground up, managed data migrations, and handed over a live system to a client who's genuinely delighted with what they've got. You know what good implementation looks like, and you’re passionate about modern HR Technologies.
What you'll do:
- Lead end-to-end HiBob implementations - from discovery and requirements gathering through to configuration, testing, data migration, and go-live.
- Run client workshops and translate complex HR processes into clean, scalable system design.
- Own project delivery: timelines, stakeholder communication, risk management, and quality of output.
- Configure core HiBob modules; Core HR, workflows, approvals, org structures, compensation, performance, and more.
- Oversee data migration and integration with payroll, ATS, and other tools in the client's stack.
- Support clients post go-live, identifying opportunities to deepen adoption and expand how they use the platform.
- Mentor junior team members and help shape how People Lab delivers.
What we're looking for:
- 5+ years' experience in HR technology implementation, with a meaningful portion of that delivering HiBob - HiBob certification is a strong advantage.
- The ability to run a project solo: you're comfortable owning the client relationship, the timeline, and the outcome.
- Deep understanding of HR processes and how they translate into system configuration - you ask the right questions in discovery because you already know where the complexity hides.
- Genuine technical capability: data migration, integrations, custom workflows, reporting - this isn't a functional-only role.
- A clear, credible communicator - you are confident presenting a solution design to a Chief People Officer, whilst at the same time happy to spend time explaining a configuration decision to a junior HR admin.
- Someone who personally measures success by the quality of what they hand over, and takes pride in their work – this is key!
Why People Lab:
- Build and shape a HiBob practice at the ground floor - the decisions you make here will define how we deliver for years.
- A client base that's genuinely interesting: fast-growth, PE and VC-backed tech businesses with ambitious People teams who want to use Bob properly.
- A team where quality is the metric that matters, and where doing something brilliant is recognised.
- Access to the Futurist network of senior People Leaders - the kind of relationships that take years to mature.
- A small team where your expertise is visible and valued, not diluted.
We review every application personally. If you've spent the last few years implementing HiBob and you're ready to do it somewhere that will make the most of that expertise then we'd love to hear from you.
