One of the UK's most exciting and fastest-growing B2C brands is looking for an L&D Manager / Talent Development Manager to help shape the next chapter of its growth. With an exceptional culture, a genuinely loved product, and ambitious expansion plans that will more than triple its workforce over the next five years, this is a stand-out opportunity.
The L&D foundations are already in place, and now they are looking to build upon them. A few of the key focus areas include:
- Induction programme needs rebuilding for scale.
- The apprenticeship programme needs a fresh architecture.
- Leadership development programme.
- New Learning Management System is effective and producing expected results.
- Ensure the team (currently 4) are effectively managed and supported.
It’s a really exciting role for the right person. It’s going to suit someone who is looking for the next step in their career, who knows what good looks like, and is looking to own the design and execution of their L&D strategy themselves.
In terms of what we’re looking for:
- Someone who is excited to set the strategy, and get their hands dirty when needs be.
- Who is experienced designing programmes that land.
- Who knows how to leverage data to tell the story of impact, or highlight changes are needed.
- Has developed people at volume, ideally across a multi-site workforce.
- Who is genuinely passionate about Learning & Development, and comfortable working at pace.
- Who is ready to own the function – in this role reporting directly to the People Director.
