We've been retained by a leading mid-market private equity firm in the US to help build out the new business sales team of one of its standout portfolio companies based in London. Off the back of a run of acquisitions, now fully integrated, the business has an offering that's genuinely best-in-class for its market - the groundwork is done, the solution is proven – we now need the team who will hit the market and turn that opportunity into new revenue.

This is a well-established and successful SaaS firm, however with growth moving fast, there's real appetite for new people to help shape how the business wins new logos, not just execute what's already there. We're after a true new business closer - someone who chases outcomes, who wins on value rather than price, and who brings real discipline to how they forecast and run a pipeline.

Becoming part of the team involves:

  • Joining a high-energy new business team and playing your part in delivering a revenue line that supports ambitious growth.
  • Winning high-value new logo business across large enterprise accounts – with goal of $850-1m pa - this is a hunting role, not an account management one.
  • Becoming the trusted voice your prospects turn to during the sales process.
  • Mapping the real decision-making structure inside each target account - who holds influence, what drives them, and how to win their backing.
  • Running complex, multi-stakeholder new business sales cycles from first conversation through to close.
  • Breaking multi-stage sales processes into clear milestones, so progress is always visible and momentum never stalls.
  • Building a commercial case that speaks directly to ROI, so decision-makers see the value long before contract stage.
  • Establishing relationships with prospects – understand their real challenges, and shape a solution that genuinely fits their goals.

To be considered:

  • A genuine track record of closing high-end enterprise SaaS deals as a new business hunter.
  • Success winning net-new enterprise business from $500k and up.
  • An independent, entrepreneurial streak – you thrive with autonomy and enjoy building rather than just following the status-quo.
  • Experienced negotiating serious deals with complex organisations.
  • Comfort and credibility selling directly to C-suite and the full range of stakeholders around them.
  • A sharp, disciplined process for managing deals through to close, spotting and removing risk before it becomes a problem.
  • Proven ability to navigate long, complex buying processes involving multiple decision-makers.
  • A reputation for forecasting accuracy and running a tight, well-managed pipeline.
  • Genuine enjoyment for the job and motivated by both personal success, as well as the company you represent.
