Graduate Research Analyst (Ed Tech)

Futuresource Consulting is a market research consulting company that provides a range of specialist intelligence reports and ongoing personal debriefs to support with business decision-making. We pride ourselves on delivering fact-based insights and market forecasts on a global scale – advising on strategic positioning, identifying key trends, analysing competitors, and underpinning major technological developments

Responsibilities

Build and retain own industry research network, in addition to maintaining Futuresource's existing contacts

Conduct primary industry research, collecting both quantitative and qualitative insights

Identify and collate relevant secondary data sources

Support in the maintenance of Futuresource’s proprietary models and datasets

Contribute to Futuresource written output – blogs / reports / press releases, utilising research-based insight

Skills and Requirements

A minimum 2:1 degree in a relevant subject (Business, Management, Marketing, Economics, or a subject with an appropriate business and/or research focus)

Proven, relevant work experience obtained during your education

Strong writing skills, including the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely

Demonstration of excellent analytical & investigative skills,

A high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks

Highly effective organisation and prioritisation skills

Proficiency with MS applications – Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Naturally inquisitive, adaptable and self-motivated

Enthusiasm, common sense, and motivation to succeed

Strong social, collaboration, and communication skills

Awareness and appreciation of client needs, with the ability and flexibility to adapt to meet specific client requirements (training will be provided where necessary)

Ability to speak a foreign language would be beneficial but not essential
