QAHE is recruiting for the role of Deputy Programme Leader for the Ulster University MBA Programme (Manchester Campus) . As Deputy Programme Leader, you will have overall responsibility for coordinating and managing supervised Dissertations and Projects across the Ulster University provision at QAHE. To ensure compliance with academic standards, high quality student experience and building a high calibre academic programme/s team

Key responsibilities (please click through to read the job description in full)

Support the Programme manager in the day-to-day running of the programme/s

Act as a point of contact for Module Leaders, Lecturers and students on the programme/s where required.

Support the Programme Leader in the effective academic management and delivery of the programme.

Support in ensuring all key academic processes associated relating to delivery of the programme are completed in accordance with university policy and best practice

Support in the co-ordinating and planning delivery of the programme.

Support in the management the academic and operational relationship with the university.

Support in the Implementation of the University’s academic and quality assurance policies and procedures, and to be accountable for academic standards

Monitor and review student’s achievement/progression and implement additional support mechanisms when appropriate

Develop and promote learning and teaching approaches to support student achievement and experience

Manage staff performance against key performance measures, undertake teaching observation where required, help oversee the standardisation of assessment and identify staff development plans as needed

Assist with preparation for exam boards

Coordinate with the Module Leaders and Lecturers regarding delivery, assessment, marking and management of the modules

Organise and conduct inductions for the programme/s where needed

Must have\’s

Undergraduate and master’s degree or equivalent

HE Programme Management experience desirable

HEA Fellowship – desirable
