Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and strategic Business Development Manager for our Diagnostics division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and driving the growth of our diagnostic solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of the diagnostics market, outstanding communication skills, and a proven track record in business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The primary objective is to identify Development Accounts in Stage 1, mainly competitive wins, to develop new business opportunities to drive future growth,

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, laboratory managers, and industry partners.

  • Qualify Development Accounts in Stage 1 to move them to Stage 2 and compete to win

  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and solution design, to align business development strategies with company goals.

  • Prepare and present business proposals, presentations, and reports to potential clients and management.

  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies.

  • Monitor and report on the performance of business development initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

  • Support Sales Managers and Sales Representatives on identifying the key competitive levers on each of targeted competitive opportunities

  • Coordinate all the key internal functions to make sure account plans evolve properly

  • Support Sales Representatives during strategic interactions with key decision makers

  • Promote, nurture and develop relationship with key decision makers and opinion leaders

  • Support Marketing Manager on market segmentation process and competition mapping

  • Support Solution Design and Marketing Manager on crafting Value propositions according to markets segments

  • Support Sales Managers, Sales Reps. and technical project leaders on crafting the account plans for targeted strategic opportunities

  • Monitor and report on competitor and marketplace trends to allow rapid reaction to market movements

  • Support Sales Managers on properly reporting to GM the evolution of strategic opportunities

  • Ensure the ‘Voice of the Customer’ is promoted to meet customer satisfaction

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing, or a related field. An advanced degree is a plus.

  • Proven track record of successful business development experience in the diagnostics or medical devices industry.

  • Strong understanding of diagnostic products, laboratory workflows, and the healthcare market.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

  • Ability to develop and execute strategic business development plans.

  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team.

  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other business development tools.

  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
