Futures are working on an exciting Process Manager role on behalf of a market-leading food manufacturing business. You will work for a FMCG giant with a full portfolio of well-known, great tasting products. As Process Manager, you will ensure the production runs safely, smoothly and efficiently every day. You’ll manage projects from initial product concept through to launch, ensuring all products are safe, legal, high quality and delivered in line with customer and business requirements. This is a hands-on role, combining factory-based activity with project management and stakeholder engagement, and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced chilled food manufacturing environment.

What you will be doing?

  • Lead the Technical Development process from concept to post-launch review.
  • Manage a small team within Process/Technical.
  • Allocate and manage resources across multiple development projects.
  • Create, manage and track critical paths for all product launches.
  • Ensure all products meet safety, legal, quality and customer code of practice requirements.
  • Act as a key technical contact for internal stakeholders, customers and external suppliers.
  • Manage and maintain robust development files, specifications and technical documentation.
  • Work closely with NPD, Technical, Purchasing, Operations and Commercial teams.

  • You will have experience managing or improving processes in food manufacturing or FMCG.
  • With a good understanding of food safety, quality and health & safety standards.
  • You will have confidence leading teams and supporting people on the shop floor.
  • Bringing a calm, solutions-focused approach when things don’t go to plan.
  • With strong organisation skills and attention to detail.
