Global Consumer Goods Business – Key Account Manager (Amazon) – West Midlands
Futures are excited to be working with a successful and growing consumer goods business with a strong portfolio of innovative household products used by consumers across the UK and internationally. This business has an established presence within the UK retail market and continues to invest heavily in product innovation, brand development and strategic retail partnerships. Due to continued growth, they are expanding their commercial team and hiring for an Amazon Account Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to manage and develop one of the businesses most important online retail partnerships, with full ownership of a multi-million £ P&L.
You Will:
- Manage, network and develop relationships with their top online account - Amazon.
- Take full ownership of the P&L, driving profitable growth across the account.
- Drive strong sales-out performance, optimising online presence, distribution and share of category voice.
- Analyse sales data, EPOS and forecasting to identify opportunities and maximise performance.
- Develop, implement and execute clear Joint Business Plans (JBP's) with the customer, ensuring alignment on key objectives.
- Manage and plan promotional activity and marketing plans across a 12-month period.
- Work closely with internal product teams to manage product ranges, pricing architecture and category coverage.
Knowledge, Experience and Skills Required:
- Experience managing Amazon and eCommerce accounts, ideally within FMCG, consumer goods or consumer electronics.
- Strong understanding of the UK retail landscape and online retail dynamics.
- Experience managing sales forecasting, account performance and commercial planning.
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset.
- Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly driven, proactive and motivated by results.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A collaborative team player who can work effectively across functions.
