Futures are supporting a growing controls and automation business in South Yorkshire in their search for a Systems Engineer. This is a varied role where you'll work across multiple engineering disciplines, supporting the design, integration, commissioning, and deployment of advanced systems used in challenging real world applications.
The successful systems engineer will have a broad understanding of electrical, electronic, software and mechanical engineering disciplines in order to create system specifications for control systems and automation focused projects.
- Develop and deliver automation and control system solutions.
- Work closely with software, electrical, electronic, and mechanical engineers on multidisciplinary projects.
- Develop, maintain, and support LabVIEW applications.
- Assist with system integration, commissioning, and customer support activities.
- Create technical documentation, specifications, and project records.
- Visit customer sites across the UK to support project delivery and commissioning.
Experience working within a systems, automation, controls, or integration engineering environment.
