Are you an experienced employer engagement, recruitment or business development professional who thrives on building meaningful partnerships?
At Futures, we're looking for a Strategic Employer Development Lead to develop employer relationships that create real opportunities for people facing barriers to employment. You'll work with employers across a range of sectors, helping to shape recruitment pathways, influence workforce planning and drive social impact through sustainable employment opportunities.
What you'll be doing
- Building and managing strategic employer partnerships
- Developing an employer engagement strategy aligned to contract and organisational goals
- Creating pathways into employment, work placements, apprenticeships and work trials
- Championing inclusive recruitment and helping employers remove barriers to employment
- Using labour market intelligence to identify opportunities and inform programme design
- Representing Futures across business, employer and stakeholder networks
We're looking for someone who has:
- Experience in employer engagement, recruitment, employability or business development
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
- Commercial awareness, negotiation and influencing skills
- Knowledge of employability, skills or welfare-to-work programmes
- A genuine passion for social mobility and improving employment outcomes for disadvantaged communities
