Due to growth, they are expanding and hiring for a brand new role - Sales Support Manager. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operational running of the sales function, supporting both internal teams and key retail customers.
The successful candidate will lead the Sales Support function, drive operational excellence, improve processes, and provide critical analytical and administrative support to the wider commercial team. This role requires a proactive, solutions-focused individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys working cross-functionally.
What you will be doing?
- Lead, mentor, and develop the Sales Support team to ensure high performance and service standards.
- Manage workloads effectively, ensuring adequate coverage and prioritisation across the team.
- Produce and distribute regular sales reports and performance analysis across the business.
- Analyse POS and sales-out data to identify trends and support commercial planning.
- Drive efficiencies across sales support processes, including order management, reporting, and customer onboarding.
- Act as a point of contact for resolving customer inquiries or issues related to sales processes, product availability, and order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with marketing, customer service, and other departments to ensure smooth communication and alignment of goals across the organisation.
- Provide ongoing training and mentorship to the sales support team to ensure high performance, professional growth, and knowledge of industry best practices.
What you will have?
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Sales Support/Commercial Support Manager role.
- Experience working within a FMCG or Manufacturing business.
- Previous experience managing or mentoring a team and a strong customer-focused mindset with a proactive and hands-on approach.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting sales and POS data.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Full clean driving license.
