Our client, an industry leading ISO9001 approved OEM in West Yorkshire, seeks to appoint a Quality Manager to oversee their quality management system. This role could as easily suit a quality engineer looking to make the step up as an existing Quality Manager. Most important is confidence, supplier quality experience, a desire to be hands-on and thorough knowledge of ISO9001. Working in conjunction with other production and operations, and utilising a quality team of engineers and inspectors, you will be able to make suggestions for future quality procedure improvements to drive standards up further. As well as managing the quality system you will also be hands-on on a day-to-day basis. The successful Quality Manager will be confident and articulate and have previous experience of leading audits. It is essential you have worked with ISO9001 in a previous quality role. Quality Manager – Requirements & Responsibilities: – Qualified to HND or degree level with minimum three years experience in a quality role – Have been the lead contact for an external audit from a customer or external assessment body such as BSI – Good communicator comfortable training shop-floor level staff one day and reporting to the board the next – Occasional travel to suppliers may be required and a passport and driving licence are required Quality Manager, Quality Engineer, ISO9001, Audits, NCR
