We are currently recruiting for a growing R&D business needing to appoint a Project Manager to their programme management team. The role will involve the management of high value R&D projects from Kick-off meeting through to handover. The company's success is down to its people and this is an opportunity to join a successful and forward-thinking team at the top of their game. Applications are welcome from both Project Coordinators and Project Engineers with an electronics background, or electronic design engineers looking to move into project management.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Preparation and management of R&D phase and deliverables including project briefs, schedules, budgets and maintenance of tracking registers.
- Identification and provision of reliable solutions for all technical issues in order to assure customer satisfaction.
- Assist with the preparation of proposals and estimates during quotation phase.
- Management of Risk, Actions, Issues and Decisions.
- Tracking and monitoring progress of measurable i.e. time, cost and quality.
- Preparation and presentation of project financials including accurate budget forecast cost to complete final cost at completion invoice profile.
- Management and control of scope and contract changes with the customer.
