We are recruiting for a Site Services Engineer to support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of electrical power distribution systems across a busy industrial site environment. This is a hands‑on engineering role focused on ensuring reliability, safety, and efficiency of site‑wide electrical infrastructure and associated services. The successful candidate will work closely with maintenance, operations, and aftersales support to deliver planned and reactive engineering support while driving high standards of compliance and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out maintenance, inspection, fault finding, and repair activities on site electrical distribution systems.
  • Support the safe operation of LV and HV electrical infrastructure across the facility.
  • Diagnose electrical faults and implement effective corrective actions to minimise downtime.
  • Assist with planned shutdowns, upgrades, and improvement projects.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend reliability and efficiency improvements.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety regulations and site procedures.
  • Coordinate with contractors and external service providers where required.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across engineering and utilities operations.
  • Participate in call‑out and emergency response activities when necessary.

Skills and Qualifications

  • HNC/HND or Apprentice‑trained in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience working within industrial, manufacturing, energy, utilities, or heavy engineering environments.
  • Strong understanding of electrical power distribution systems and associated equipment.
  • Experience with fault diagnosis, preventative maintenance, and system troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety standards, isolation procedures, and permit‑to‑work systems.
