Our client, an FMCG manufacturer with multiple high speed automated production lines, seek to appoint an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to their maintenance team. Working in an environment of continuous improvement you will work with production team members to ensure the efficient operation of machinery and improve processes to increase OEE through fault diagnosis and 8D/CAPA/Root Cause investigations. On offer is an excellent base salary alongside a generous benefits package for a highly successful and expanding employer. This is a 4-on 4-off role with 2 day and 2 night 12 hour shifts. Maintenance Engineer – Role & Responsibilities * Ensure the day-to day breakdown and planned maintenance (PM) is carried out in accordance with the plan * Work closely with production/manufacturing engineering to improve quality of current processes and ensure any process issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner whilst PM regime is adhered to * Understand and use statistical process control and process capability to drive continuous improvement.
