A leading manufacturing company in Cambridgeshire is seeking a Project Engineer to join its team during an exciting period of growth. With significant investment across the site including factory improvements, machinery upgrades, and new technology implementation this is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of the business.
The Role:
As a Project Engineer, you will lead and deliver a range of engineering projects from concept through to completion, supporting the ongoing development and modernisation of manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage engineering projects from design through to installation and commissioning
- Deliver factory improvement initiatives, including layout and process optimisation
- Support machinery upgrades and integration of new equipment
- Liaise with internal teams, contractors, and suppliers
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to health & safety standards
- Drive continuous improvement across operations
About You:
- Experience as a Project Engineer within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong understanding of machinery, automation, and production processes
- Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively
- Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree or equivalent preferred)
