Are you a hands-on Quality Engineer who loves being on the shop floor, solving problems, and driving improvements?

A leading manufacturing business in Cornwall is continuing its exciting growth journey following major investment and they’re looking to strengthen their engineering team with the appointment of aSenior Quality Engineer.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking, well-invested organisation where you can make a real impact, work collaboratively across teams, and contribute to ongoing improvements across the site.

What You’ll Be Doing

In this role, you will be a key part of the quality and engineering function, with responsibilities including:

• Leading root cause analysis and delivering effective corrective actions
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the shop floor
• Ensuring compliance with quality systems, standards, and customer requirements
• Working collaboratively with engineering, production, and technical teams
• Supporting supplier quality and wider quality assurance activity

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and knowledge of quality tools (e.g. RCA, 8D, CAPA, SPC)
• A hands-on approach and confidence working closely with the shop floor
• A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills
• Someone passionate, proactive, and improvement-focused
