Futures are working with a global, fast-growing FMCG business based in Liverpool, supplying high-quality products to customers across the UK and international markets. With a strong focus on innovation, operational excellence, and people development, we are looking for an experienced and proactive Human Resources Manager to join our leadership team and support our continued growth.

As Human Resources Manager, you will lead all aspects of the HR function, leading the team and partnering with senior management to develop and implement people strategies that drive business performance. You will be responsible for employee relations, recruitment, talent development, compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture across the organisation.

What you will be doing?

  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management, and performance issues.
  • Lead recruitment and onboarding activities to attract and retain top talent.
  • Manage employee engagement initiatives and support the development of a positive company culture.
  • Oversee learning and development programmes, succession planning, and talent management.
  • Ensure compliance with UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and produce management reports and workforce analytics.
  • Support organisational change and business improvement projects.
  • Manage payroll processes in collaboration with finance and external providers where applicable.
  • Lead and develop the HR team, ensuring excellent service delivery across the business.

What will you have?

  • Proven experience in a standalone Human Resources Manager or Senior HR Advisor role.
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification as a minimum (Level 7 desirable).
  • Experience within FMCG, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, or a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Knowledgeable of People HR software and UK employment law and HR best practice.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A hands-on approach with the ability to operate both strategically and operationally.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience managing recruitment, employee relations, and HR projects.
