As Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day manufacturing operations, driving process improvements, and delivering engineering solutions across the production environment. This is a highly practical role suited to an engineer who enjoys being on the shop floor, working closely with production teams, troubleshooting issues, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support manufacturing operations through hands-on engineering and process improvement activities
- Identify and implement improvements to manufacturing processes, productivity, efficiency, and quality
- Work closely with production teams to resolve technical and process-related issues
- Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives across the site
- Support new product introduction (NPI), process validation, and production readiness activities
- Analyse manufacturing data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement
- Ensure engineering activities are completed in line with safety and quality standards
We are looking for a proactive and practical engineer with strong manufacturing experience and a genuine passion for process improvement and operational engineering.
- Previous experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, Production Engineer, or similar role
- Strong hands-on engineering experience within a manufacturing or production environment
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
- Comfortable working cross-functionally within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with both engineering and production teams
- Mechanical or manufacturing engineering qualification would be advantageous
