We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Head of Projects to lead the successful delivery of projects from point of sale through to completion within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, ensuring operational excellence, strong client relationships, and high-quality delivery standards across all projects. The successful candidate will manage a small team of Project Managers/Coordinators while acting as the central link between sales, operations, clients, and delivery teams. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can balance strategic oversight with day-to-day project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all projects from handover after sale through to final delivery and completion.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
- Monitor project performance, identify risks, and implement proactive solutions.
- Manage project priorities and resource allocation across multiple concurrent projects.
- Maintain clear visibility of project pipelines, statuses, and delivery milestones.
- Lead, mentor, and support a small team of Project Managers and Coordinators.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching sessions, and development planning.
- Act as a senior point of contact for clients throughout project delivery.
- Build strong working relationships with internal departments including Sales, Finance, and Operations.
- Ensure smooth project handovers from the sales team into delivery.
- Manage client expectations and ensure excellent customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
