FIH Level 1 Coach (L1C) Course

FIH L1C FOUNDATION COACH COURSE at OUNDLE SCHOOL

The FIH Academy Level 1 Coach Award is designed for coaches, teachers, and volunteers aged 16+ wanting to start coaching at an initiation/beginner/foundation level.

This course is integrated into the Futures Sports Residential Hockey Camp, providing an ideal opportunity for candidates to learn and practice in a live environment. Candidates will be considered as part of the Futures Sports Staff Team for the duration of the course, but will be mentored by an FIH Educator throughout.

An induction session will take place on Sunday 11 August from 7pm to 9pm for residential AND day candidates. Other sessions will take place between 9am and 5pm from Monday 12 August to Thursday 15 August – day candidates may depart at 5pm on these days. Evening sessions and attendance on Friday 16 August are for residential candidates only.

Included in your booking fee:

1. Day & Residential: FIH Academy registration fee, course delivery fee, FIH/Futures Coach shirt, certification & lunch (Mon-Thurs).
2. Residential: As above plus breakfast (Mon-Fri), dinner (Mon-Thurs), accommodation (twin or single) for 5 nights (Sun-Fri).

FIH Academy Coaching, Umpiring, and Officiating Courses are recognized globally; however, with 140 FIH member nations, equivalence to National Association qualification and requirements, as well as local laws, will vary. For further information please contact your National Association.
