Our client, a market leading manufacturer and supplier of specialist electronic equipment, seek to appoint an Embedded Software Engineer with previous R&D experience.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Coding on major new product development projects within a team of other engineers
- Designing and developing embedded software and firmware for new and existing electronic systems
- Generating embedded code in C
- A/D conversion, algorithm development and digital signal processing
- Generating the software architecture and communication protocols on a variety of microprocessors and microcontrollers
- Testing of prototypes, generating supporting documentation, and project management
Qualifications:
- Electrical & Electronic Engineering or Computer Science qualification (or equivalent)
- A minimum of three years within Embedded Software Engineering
- RTOS (real time operating systems) experience and knowledge of digital signal processing and analog to digital conversion are preferred
