We are recruiting for a leading manufacturing business based in Pontefract, known for producing niche and bespoke products, who are now looking to grow their Engineering team with the addition of a dedicated Electrical Maintenance Engineer.
The Role:
- Carrying out fault-finding, repairs, and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on a wide range of bespoke machinery.
- Working on electrical systems, including panels, motors, sensors, and controls, ensuring maximum equipment uptime.
- Supporting the installation and commissioning of new machinery and electrical projects.
- Playing an active role in continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with health & safety and regulatory requirements.
The Ideal Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
- Electrically qualified (Level 3 or equivalent) with strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience working as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Good understanding of electrical systems, with PLC knowledge considered an advantage.
- Proactive, team-oriented and committed to maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
