Maintenance Coordinator | Manufacturing | Β£47,132

Are you an experienced engineer looking for a role where you can combine your hands-on engineering expertise with project management, automation and future manufacturing development?

We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Coordinator to join an established manufacturing environment, where you will play a key role in introducing new technology, improving processes and supporting the future development of the operation.

What will you be involved in?

β€’ Planning maintenance activities

β€’ Analysing machine issues and feeding them back into the CMMS system for prevention

β€’ Planning and introducing new manufacturing machinery and equipment

β€’ Robotics and automation installation projects

β€’ Process development, optimisation and continuous improvement

β€’ Project planning, scheduling and implementation

β€’ Managing contractors, suppliers and installation teams

β€’ Equipment installation, commissioning and integration into production

β€’ Engineering change management and supporting operational teams through implementation

β€’ Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity and manufacturing capability

β€’ Supporting long-term engineering and manufacturing strategy

β€’ Providing hands-on technical engineering support where required

About you

We are looking for someone with a strong engineering background who understands manufacturing from a practical, hands-on perspective, but also has the ability to manage projects and coordinate multiple stakeholders.

You could currently be working as a Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Project Engineer or similar, with experience in areas such as:

β€’ Mechanical or electrical engineering

β€’ Manufacturing processes and production equipment

β€’ Automation and robotics

β€’ Machinery installation and commissioning

β€’ Engineering projects and contractor management

β€’ Continuous improvement and process optimisation

β€’ Project planning and implementation

An engineering qualification or equivalent technical experience is essential.

Location: Southampton

Salary: Β£47,132 per annum

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm

Permanent position
