About the Role

- Support the delivery of Sustainability activities
- Assist in development of materials engineering solutions and documentation.
- Support the project delivery teams, providing technical support in materials engineering design, assurance and management
- Assist in the provision of materials testing services during project delivery
- Develop and maintain relationships with relevant materials engineering consultants and suppliers.
- Support the materials team in materials risk management, identifying and recording best practice and areas for improvement on contracts
- Maintain personal expertise and knowledge to ensure that BB is at the forefront of the industry both technically and in using the latest technologies and standards
- Assist where requested, audits of construction and materials including testing and ensure all meet project specifications and relevant standards
- Ensure procedures and quality systems are applied
- Mentor members of the team to deliver high performance and a culture of continuous improvement
Entry requirements
- Degree educated
- Full UK driving License

- Ability to collect, manage and present data in a clear manner
- Knowledge of construction materials (Concrete, Grout, Earthworks, Aggregates, Asphalt)
- Desire for continuous improvement and development
