We manage nature reserves to secure a bigger, better and more connected landscape for wildlife and to inspire the next generation through hands-on experiences with nature. We’re recruiting an enthusiastic apprentice to join our People & Operations team, supporting both the People & Culture and Operations functions at Suffolk Wildlife Trust. This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience while contributing to our mission to bring nature back to Suffolk.

  • Supporting with the organisation of meetings, training sessions and events, including preparing resources, keeping records up to date, and taking minutes where needed
  • Contribute to maintaining personnel files
  • Helping with recognition activities such as awards and thank-you events

You will balance hands-on tasks with learning opportunities, including one day a week of apprenticeship study time through Suffolk New College. As you progress, your responsibilities will grow, moving from assisting with routine tasks to coordinating and taking ownership of areas such as volunteer coordination, training logistics, and wider operational projects.

Each week will give you the chance to build skills, gain confidence and make a real contribution to Suffolk Wildlife Trust’s work.
