We are a Plumbing and Heating company based in a unit in Harston. We are looking to recruit for a Customer Service Apprentice. We are seeking a professional and organised Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth administrative operations.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with office experience who are eager to contribute to a dynamic workplace environment. The position is ideal for candidates looking to develop their administrative skills within a supportive team.

Main roles and responsibilities:
  • Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Manage incoming calls, directing them appropriately with proper phone etiquette.
  • Scheduling and organising appointments for the clients.
  • Managing emails.
  • Managing a team of engineers' daily diaries.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks including filing, photocopying, and organising documents.
  • Update and maintain records with organisational skills ensuring information is current and accessible.
Entry requirements:
  • GCSE Maths and English at grades 4 or above required.

Training to be provided: The learner will be studying the Customer Service Practitioner Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard qualification.

Things to consider: The role does require long periods of working on a computer, however regular breaks are provided. The workplace is in a remote location with no public transport links, so a car and driver's license would be essential. The role is initially for the duration of the apprenticeship, however this may be extended to a permanent position on completion of the apprenticeship.
