Business Administration Apprentice – Kew Law Solicitors

Position
Kew Law LLP is looking to recruit a Business and Administration Apprentice to assist in the day-to-day running of reception and to undertake general administration duties. This is an excellent opportunity for a smart, ambitious and self-motivated individual to join a friendly environment.
Responsibilities
- Welcome new and existing clients to the office and provide refreshments if necessary.
- Handle incoming telephone calls from a variety of people (new clients, existing clients, estate agents, other solicitors, etc.).
- Assist where possible (no legal advice given) and transfer calls or take messages as appropriate.
- Keep a log of each phone call received and the action taken.
- Receive emails and forward to the relevant person in a timely fashion (no direct replies unless instructed).
- Provide backup to two senior secretaries by typing letters and producing other legal documents as required.
- Open new files on Case Manager and create hard copies when needed.
- Visit the bank daily to pay in cheques and cash on behalf of the firm.
- Monitor office stationery levels (at least weekly) and place orders as required.
- Receive all new stationery orders and store supplies promptly.
Training to be provided
Apprenticeships include time away from work for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.
- Training course: Business Administrator (level 3)
- Training schedule: Business Administrator Level 3 (A level) Apprenticeship Standard; Functional Skills in maths and English if required; blended on/off-the-job training; location to be confirmed; Level 3 Business Administration qualification upon successful completion.
Entry Requirements
Share if you have other relevant qualifications and industry experience. The apprenticeship can be adjusted to reflect what you already know.
