Are you an exceptional educator in maths with a passion for transforming lives through exceptional teaching and learning? Banbury Aspirations Campus is on a rapid journey of improvement and we are looking for an ambitious Lead Practitioner to join our Maths team. We are looking for someone who will lead by example, and possess the energy to coach others towards improving teaching and learning.
Whether you are an experienced middle leader or a high performing teacher ready to take your first step into wider school impact, we want to hear from you. As a cornerstone of our school-wide strategy, you will maintain an outstanding teaching profile, serving as a model of good practice in the classroom for staff to observe. Beyond your own students, you will embed and deliver coaching and CPD for the Maths team, including non-specialists, ensuring our curriculum remains ambitious, evidence informed and effectively implemented.
You will help to bridge the gap between educational research and practical classroom wins by directly improving student outcomes across the key stages in maths, driving improved attainment for all. We are looking for an expert practitioner who understands how to apply the science of learning, such as retrieval practice and scaffolding, to everyday lessons. The ideal candidate will be resilient, adaptable and able to thrive in a fast paced environment where challenges are viewed as opportunities for growth.

The Banbury Aspirations Campus consists of Wykham Park Academy, a comprehensive school of 800 pupils, and Futures Institute (Stem Studio School 14‑19). The Maths team currently consists of seven specialists plus non‑specialist teachers, led by a Head of Faculty. The team work across both schools with Futures Institute results being at or above national average and those at Wykham Park much improved and on an upwards trajectory, with sustained improvement over the last three years. Our cross‑campus sixth form offers a well‑established and successful Maths A‑level.
