Food and Art Technician on a part-time basis. 18 hours per week.
This is a varied and rewarding role, supporting the delivery of engaging and practical learning experiences across our Food and Art departments. Working closely with teaching staff and students, you will help prepare and organise resources, maintain a safe and well-equipped learning environment, and provide practical support during lessons. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to students’ creativity, practical skills and learning, helping to create an environment where all students can develop their confidence and achieve their potential.
Our Curriculum.
As part of the Aspirations Academies Trust at key stage 3 our school offers a unique year 7 and 8 curriculum model . Combining the best of Primary and Secondary practice, the year 7 and 8 model provides students with a smaller staff team than traditional models which aids a seamless transition from Primary to Secondary School. By doing so we prioritise students' self worth through fostering meaningful relationships with a smaller team of staff. Teams of staff collaborate to ensure the curriculum is engaging, challenging and relevant. Key stage 3 teachers teach the year 7/8 classes a number of times a week and during this time, with support from the year 7/8 team and shared resources and planning, would be teaching a combination of subjects.
The Academy is recruiting for someone who shares our drive to engage and motivate every child to achieve their potential, who will play an important role in our unique and growing Academy.
