An exciting opportunity has become available for a passionate Cover Supervisor. As part of the Aspirations Academies Trust at key stage 3, our school offers a unique year 7 and 8 curriculum model. Combining the best of Primary and Secondary practice, the year 7 and 8 model provides students with a smaller staff team than traditional models which aids a seamless transition from Primary to Secondary School. By doing so, we prioritise students' self-worth through fostering meaningful relationships with a smaller team of staff. Teams of staff collaborate to ensure the curriculum is engaging, challenging, and relevant. Key stage 3 teachers teach the year 7/8 classes a number of times a week and during this time, with support from the year 7/8 team and shared resources and planning, would be teaching a combination of subjects.
